Been running and starting fine but now won't fire. Glow plugs seem to heat up . Could the problem be the injector pump and if so how would I check. Also, where would you find a rebuilt pump. Thanks

for starters, could crack the lines at injectors and see if you have fuel coming out when cranking. make sure you have the fuel shut off on the pump in open position also. how's the filters?, changed recently?you got fuel in the tank? not much info you gave. is it smoking when cranking? is it cranking fast enough?

First check fuel flow out of the tank. Our 560 had fuel flow problems caused by a corn tassel in the outlet of the tank. Finally took the tank off & more than 1 tassel was in the tank. Younger brother was never too clean about refuelling when he used it on the picker.
If you have good flow from the tank & not at the filter bleeds, you might have trouble at the hand priming pump. We had trouble with ours & just plumbed around it. You need a full tank of fuel to bleed out the filters now.

Check the rubber fuel line between the final filter and the injector pump. I have had them look good on the outside and be collapsed on the inside and not let fuel flow. When you bleed that hose at the injector pump it will flow fuel for a very short time but with the hose disconnected from the inj. pump for two or 3 min. the flow will dribble down to nothing and you will have to replace that hose. When I purchased the tractor it had a small diesel leak at pump and I've just been putting up with it. It's been slow to start and does smoke alot at starting then clears up. I have not changed fuel filters. When running it does a good job but does take a bit to start. Thanks

One more thing you might keep in mind while trouble shooting is the small return line to the fuel tank from the inj pump. There is a ball check where this line enters the tank. The ball can stick and it won't run. Some people just remove the ball. If your changing a pump for the first time... you want to have a manual. A rebuild or exchange can cost $600-$700+. Without experience or a manual you can mess up your new pump.
