2011 Mackinaw Bridge Tractor Drive

Great event!

The Mackinaw Bridge is in Michigan, it connects the Upper Penninsula to the Lower, the water is the convergance of Lakes Michigan and Huron, called the Straights of Mackinaw. 820 tractors crossed, there was a parade through Mackinaw City, a 5 mile bridge crossing, a parade through St. Ignace then a 4 mile drive to a casino parking lot for a tractor show.

I would estimate we were on the actual bridge for an hour (5 mile span) the first half was stop and go, but the second half we went across in high gear. about a 3 mile parade on south, then again on the north side of the bridge and a fair amount of waiting, probably a 3 hour tractor drive all together.
