Hydraulic Cylinder Leak - Odd

I have a 1950 Farmall H with a bucket loader. After raising the bucket about halfway, the hydraulic cylinder spews SAE30. However, it doesn't leak as soon as I bring it down slightly. I can stand and jump on the bucket, and it doesn't go down or leak. I'm having trouble figuring out what the problem is here. Thanks for the help!

If it's a one-way cylinder and it's spewing out the shaft seal or the vent valve then most likely fluid has gone past the piston seal into the non-fluid side. ??

Rhill is correct. If it has been left up for long periods the small leakage into the top of the cylinders has collected and spews. Use rags over the tops and slowly lift to purge the oil. (or take them apart to bleed the oil out of the top.)
Then expect this to happen once in a while, (always set the bucket down when not using it!) If it gets worse, or is bad enough to make this a monthly routine, The cylinders will need new piston seals an checked for rust pits in the bore. Jim
