I 656 hydro numbers

can anyone tell me how many International 656 hydros that they built? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance,Tony
 
I dont believe IH kept seperate counts of gear verses hydro numbers.I've been asking the same question about my 826 hydro for years,so far no one has answered that question.Steve
 
Thanks Steve Thats what I was afraid of. I just got this tractor and it's the only one I've seen in this area so I just wondered if it was somewhat rare or not.
 
Uncle Mike bought one new when I was a little kid in the late 60s in east central Indiana. IH hydrostatic tractors are pretty common around there as a lot of ih was sold in the area.
