are the parts (plugs,points, condenser,wires,cap) at
tractor supply, good parts to use. or, should i go
somewhere else to get them. thanx for your time.

It's been my experience that going to the IH dealer for ign. parts is the cheapest in the long run,most of the other places have cheap made parts,if Napa has them in a name brand they are also good quality.

I would probably go to CaseIH if I was using the tractor all the time. TSC is probably OK if it sees minimal use. CaseIH contracts with others for that type part -- I doubt if either is as good as the ones that came new on the tractor.

I would go along with CNKS and Mike and use CaseIH parts. I had poor luck with Tractor Supply caps and rotors. Caps fit poorly and did not hold up.

i get my distributor caps from napa. they still have copper contacts instead of aluminum. you might as well buy the points there too.

You get what you pay for and the TSC condensor probably just wont last very long.
