Will a 2250 loader fit a 766

My neighbor bought a quick-attach loader and brackets but nothing is lining up. Does anyone have a picture of one mounted ? Thanks in advance.

Richard: That loader was used on numerous IH tractors. There would have been different mounting kits. Large chassis Farmalls like 766 kit would be different from small chassis (ie 656), then the European IH tractors would be different again. You probably have the wrong kit.

Go to the caseih.com parts site and search for parts for 2250, will show all the different mounting hardware but it does not indicate the tractor models they fit.

To find a picture google ih 2250 loader.

If you study the figures carefully, you'll notice that there are only two different mounting brackets. The figures on E-03 E-04 and E-05 show various spacers to fit various tractors.

The large frame 66 series, i.e. the 766, didn't need spacers for a 2350 loader. I'd imagine the brackets from page E-03 are the right ones for a 766. If you've got the brackets like the ones from E-02, those are probably for frameless tractors like the 674 and newer tractors like the 84 series.

Do you have the E-05 offset brackets? They want be used on the tractor you are installing it on. I am intrested in them right and left for installing a loader on my 656 ulilty international if you want to get rid of them. Thanks [email protected]

We have an IH 684 (1979 model) that has the 2250 loader on it. See attached pictures.
