Hello, been a while since I posted any questions. Hope everone is doing well. I went to change my hydrolic filter and noticed my pressure release screen is broken. Is this a fixable thing, or do I need to get a new pressure valve. It looks like the screen is crimped around the the edge of the valve so don;t know if you could just replace screen.

Anyone have a smilar issue and how did you fix it. Would appreachate any advise?

Just some clarification. The screen is on the pressure releaf valve that fits into the replaceable hydrolic filter (about 6" by 3", by 2' deep) that you access from the side of the tractor.

Also, I have lost my hyrdolic dip stick. How high should the fuild level looking down the dipstick tube? Thanks

I never tried to repair one, just replaced them. It is a bypass valve to allow oil to flow to pump if filter is plugged or oil is too stiff from cold. Anytime you see any crap on screen it means oil has been going through the screen rather than filter. They usually tear because filter has been plugged.
