656 pto rebuild

Hello, The pto went out of my 656 after becoming slower and slower to engage. I reckon the clutches are out of it. I bought a clutch kit to repair it. Is this a fairly straight forward job?
I was also wondering how much of an down angle I need to put the tractor on in order to pull the pto unit without having to drain the trans oil?

Drain the oil-thats the easy way.finding a hill/ditch,working in the dirt/mud,and working on a slope is a lot harder than draining and working on a shop floor.

How much oil in that tractor? 656 Farmall.

Not sure,but a 706 will hold 30 gallons.I would guess 25.
