The pickup reel on my 47 baler suddenly began stopping intermittently. The sprocket turns continuously. Is there some sort of clutch in the rope pulley next to the drive sprocket? How do you adjust or repair it? The roll pin that secures the sprocket to the shaft seems to be fine. The castle nut on the end of the shaft is soaking in hopes I can get it off. There is no mention of any sort of clutch there in the operator's manual but I think I see springs inside the rope pulley. Thanks for any replies, I may be off internet for several days due to job travel.
