Got some fun things today!(pics)

Went over to my cousins to get some old equipment out and get it to my house to work on. Talked to the guy who owned the place. He said he had an H that needed a water pump. Looked it over gonna replace that for him in trade for a little genius number 8 two bottom plow and a set of cultivators. But here is what I got today. Nothing super great and grain drill and manure spreader turn and are 90-90% complete. Will get pictures and hopefully help when I start the water pump replacement

That looks a lot like the stuff I used as a kid. Had a manure spreader like that that was converted to rubber tires with the front wheels eliminated. When the spreader was hooked to our Ferguson 30 it made the front end light, and when starting the spreader it would easily do wheel stands. I always thought the top spreaders looked like moose antlers.

Good Eye! I can't imagine it would work even a little without that becoming obvious. How strange that people can no longer think.
I believe there is only uncommon knowledge at this point. I keep filling young heads with it but the % that escape W/O any from school is a disaster. Jim

I did notice that when I brought it home. I have seen others like that. I plan on changing them around once I get both home. I also will be looking for 4 new implement tires. The other Plow I plan to restore as it has some paint left, and has a rubber rear wheel. This will be the one I pull at shows/parades.
