330 oil pressure

Hi again all! Got a question for you. Just changed the oil and filter on my new purchase 330 that the hydraulic pump was leaking hyd fluid into the engine. The oil pressure cold is above 40, once hot at rated rpm the pressure will run high teens to high twenties depending upon overall temp. at idle it registers basically no pressure, am I looking into an engine rebuild or does the pump have the warpage problems that other Internationals seem to have. The tractor will only be used for driving around on.

Forgot to add: where can you get parts or a new pump for the engine?

Case-IH still has parts. I rebuilt the pump on my 340 when I was consistently falling under 10 psi warmed up.

Flat sanding the pump cover, and using the thin gaskets for shimming the end play of the gears to .0005 to .001" will bring the pump as far back to good as possible. 15-40 oil can also be of value! Jim
