International Truck Engine

I have a friend who has acquired an International engine out of an older truck. It is a 372 cid serial number is 53363R with a 4.375 bore. This is what he tells me at least. My question is does it have any value in the tractor restoration/ pulling world?? It runs good. What is it worth. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You. Mike (507)360-6748

THere are several Farmalls that have had that engine transplated into them. It is not a drop in situation. It is a pretty bulletproof engine, but not dramatic in power potential. Some may have been used in IH equipment, (Seems I remember a few at RPRU this year.) Value is if someone needs it, If it is a good engine and is not using oil, it would be worth 600 or more (with the interested buyer) Jim
