MD injection pump dilution

Looks like diesel is getting into the injection pump. I shut the fuel off at the tank when it's not running, and am changing the pump oil frequently. I've read that there is a bad seal in the primary pump that's causing this. Question: Is a replacement seal available and is this something I could do myself? Looks like the primary pump can be removed without removing the whole injection pump. The tractor is a '48 with the IH pump.

I sent my pump in and had them rebuild it and it came with a new seal for around $100. All your other assumptions are correct.

I figured for $100 it was worth the peace of mind in knowing I had somebody to blame when it went wrong.

I was just in your state yesterday. I went to Pine Island. It was about 30 min north of Rochester. Nice place, nice people.
