560T/A Problem

Bringing a 560 Farmall back from the dead after about 10 years in the great outdoors. TA worked great the first 20 or so times I used it, but needed adjustment, so adjusted all according to the I&T manual. Worked goot about 10 moer shifts or so, and now won't pull at all on low side. Makes a loud whining noise when on low side. Have not had covers off yet, but I'm thinking sprag.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Yes that is likely it. When they sit they can get enough corrosion and or stiff oil in them that they work a while. You might give it a bit more time/tries as it could start and work well, if it is just being nasty to you for a little bit! Jim

That is exactly what my SW6TA does. I have not taken it apart. I did all the adjustments, and it will hold up to 2nd, no load. Could you let me know what you find? I have not changed my transaxle oil either.
