I have a Super H and want to rebuild the motor for pulling. I found a kit for a 350 Farmall at Denny's Carb Shop on the web. I was wondering what else is out there for rebuild kits and what would be best to buy. I dont want to stroke the motor. Open to any ideas or advice. Thanks

For a standard SH block that the casting # on side of block above the oil filter housing begins with first 3 digits 358XXXRX. Machining of the block will be needed to install anything bigger than a 3-9/16 bore piston and sleeve set for a SH. 3-9/16 sleeves if found for a 300 C169 engine won't be the same.
Old time puller told me once that he used a old chevy truck 6 cylinder pistons in SH engines. Running them in the block back years ago. Piston was around 3-11/16 size.

I orderd my kit from YT mag, and was very pleased. I put my engine to gether over the weekend. Dome pistons looked great, everything went together with no issues.
