neighbor has a 1066 that just quite moving. has steering and brakes. 1-4 seem fine, high low seem decent but probobly needs dentents, no reverse eitherbut it seems to feel like its shifting into reverse. seems like it would move in either high/low or reverse if it was a shifting cover issue. pto is fine also. pressure plate/clutsh issue??

i had that happen to a 986. the clutch driven plate fell apart. take the cover off the bottom at look at the clutch. see what pieces are sitting on the cover when it comes off.

I agree with Mazemeister, The master clutch drive disk can fail (either the friction pucks, or the hub can fail) The Spline drive to the Hydraulics and PTO is driven from the pressure plate, and will provide power to those systems. Look at those splines carefully, as they are also prone to fail after about 1/2 century. Jim
