TD-6 oil pan

I did a dumb thing! Pushed a bunch of old lumber from a barn the wind blew down without the oil pan shield attached and dented the oil pan. Is it possible to remove the oil pan without taking the cross member spring assy off? I can get all the bolts out OK but don't know if the back end of the pan will clear the crankshaft etc. The pan isn't leaking but when I drain the oil some of the old oil won't drain out. Besides I don't like leaving it like that. Thanks for your help again.

I'm not that familiar with a TD-6, but I do know that on a W4 or I4 the oil pan will not drop far enough to clear the oil pump unless the front axle is removed first.

Sorry, I don't know crawlers either but on my WD-9 you can get the oil pan off without removing stuff. It is like a rubix cube, but it can be done.

thanks for your replies guys. I got worried that I might have damaged the oil pump and/or the pick up tube so I had to try to take the pan off. I lucked out! It did come off without taking the cross member off, but I think it might be a little harder to put it back on and keep the gasket where it should be. Live and learn. And the oil pump and pickup tube were undamaged too.
