I just bought a super md and im trying to figure out the hydralics, its will push out a cylinder on my plow but it wont suck it back in. it has the to way valve under and to the side of the fuel tank. This tractor does have two way hydralics right? the pump works great, i have to pull the bottom lever twords me to lift plow up and hold it if i dont it drops, but if i pull back on bottom lever and push the top left twords front of tractor it must lock the pressure and hold my plow up, in order for me to set the plow down and lift the wheel all the way up i have to reverse the hoses. anyone got any ideas im sure i just got somethings hooked up wrong. and does any one know what direction the levers are supposed to be moved to lower and riase, i guess if this tractor has two way hydralics, you tell me if you need pictures let me know. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

To use the two way system (assumes a belly pump, not a pump in front of the distributor on the engine) it is necessary to pull the lower control rod that attaches to a longish lever with a spare hole on it, to the rear and hold it there. The other rod should now provide up and down control. THe rod can stay out all the time because the other valve is open centered, and will dump pressure into the reservoir when in the centered position. If pulling the lower rod with the control rod centered causes the engine to losd down, somthing is not connected correctly.

So if you have the dist pump what kind of a control valve do you have or is it the I-H set-up that goes on top of the fill pipe. That system has two levers and one needs to be pulled back and locked in position with a little flopper on the control valve then the other lever will give you two-way pressure.

What Jim said also applies to the dist pump, the IH 2 way valve fits either, same with aftermarket.
