Super M Radiator

Drain, then remove the hood, grill, front half of steering shaft out the front of the gearbox. Then loosen both hoses and the spring loaded nuts under the bolster. It should set right off.

You will probably also have to remove the four bolts that hold the fan shroud to the radiator. If the mounting studs screw out of the radiator it won't be necessary to remove the shroud or fan.
 
Personally I have never seen bottom studs that could be removed easily. So, don't waste your time, get out the hot wrench.
 
So got to the steering box last night. Do you take out the plug at the top. Looks to be 1 1/8"
plug that lines up with the steering rod. Tried to remove this plug, was stuck tight is not a reverse thread is it?
