My B had the right brake dragging badly. Pedal wouldn"t move, unhooked the linkage, the linkage wouldn"t move. Pulled off the final drive to see why...the entire tube and drum was PACKED with mouse nest! These pics are after a lot of it fell out.

You know I never have a problem like that. Reason is I have the other problem to many cats but some ow almost never see a mouse any place. So how many cats do you want they are free. LOL

A couple days ago I pulled my square baler out, and the minute I kicked in the pto a large amount of alalfa cubes (wife had a sack for livestock in the barn where the baler is stored) fell on the ground. Thankfully I stopped and looked in the knotter area and it was packed as well. In the process of opening up the cover over the knotters I got nailed by a wasp who had several family members also residing in that area. Good thing I checked the knotters, as if it had tripped to tie it likely would have broken something in the knotters as they were packed. Time to put out some "medication" for the critters.

Yep, you need some cats. I also have too many cats, but NO rodents, and few rabbits! And they keep the pigeon herd that I have in check, too.

I have a '95 F-150 that I now use mainly to pull my utility trailer. Parked it in the back yard just before July 4th to load some tree limbs and brush. Noticed my little Beagles were spending a lot of time hunting around under the pickup after 2 or 3 days. Finally went to check on it and a wood rat was building a nest under the hood. Beagles, in trying to get to him, tore up a bunch of wiring in the left side engine/firewall/transmission area and it will not start. Used the 240U to pull it to the front yard and found at least 18 wire ends, so a minumum of 9 wires broken. Still haven't gotten around to working on it, due to the 100+ heat and other priorities.
So I too feel your pain!

I stuck the scale box in the Steiger this yea and it wouldn't zero properly. Dealer sent a guy out, he checked it over, and things seemed to be OK so they sent a new box. Put it in and it was worse than the original. We got through wheat without the scale, they took it into the shop, and a mouse had got into a piece of conduit and chewed through a wire. When I put the power to it, it fried all three load cells. The only thing they were able to re-use was the junction box where the wires from the load cells tie into the ones from the scale box.
