I H industrial serial #

I am looking for information on a industrial I H engine which is conected to a gen set. The Serial # is JDFM34913 4 Cly Gas start Diesel run. Any information and or pictures of the head shifting mechanism would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure the first letter is a J and not a U? UD would normally be the first letters for a power unit. My guess would be that it is a UD6, the smallest of the diesel/gas start engines. That wouldm make it the same size engine that was used in the M diesel.

This is a big 4 cly engine which is far too big for a 1950 or so tractor. JDFM34913 is correct.

UDFM is the prefix for the engine number of a UD-14 Power Unit. Go back and read your prefix until you decide it starts with a U. JDFM didn't exist.

The "J" must be a half stamped "U" which makes it a UD 14 engine which is 460.7 cubic inch displacement.
