Farmall A Wheel Question

I have an A that has 2 different wheels on the back. The left one is the standard thin steel wheel, the right one is a thick heavy cast wheel. By wheel, I"m meaning the center, not the outer rim that the tire mounts to.
What can anyone tell me about this? Thanks

Many of them where like that. In theory it was done that way to help keep them from flipping out on there side

Stock factory set up. Some counterbalance weight for the offset engine and drive line.

Is this just on the A's? I have 2 B's that both have steel wheels.

A's Super A's 100, 130 140. All the offset tractors.

Your B's are centered. The only offset weight is the driver and the operators platform.

They came from the factory with the cast center to help balance the wt on the rear wheels. The cast centers were an option on the B.
