H timing

I am putting the H back together after adding live hydraulics and painting front end.

The slotted coupling in the back of the hydraulic pump has a loose screw. It tightens up and secures the coupling. I am thinking about putting locktite on the screw before final assembly. I would appreciate your comments.

What position should the slot be in at TDC?
 
Locktite is a fint solution. clean with laquer thinner and dry before use.
If the gear is timed correctly in the front cover, the position of the drive is correct.
