400 powersteering revisited (PICTURES)

After memorizing my manual, and checking the Case/IH web site (which shows the exact same pics)I'm still not finding a complete parts breakdown for the valve in question.(it doesn't show the single side port at least) The one it shows is close, but does not include the power steering options (for the valves) in the breakdown. I did however notice a guide for the unlatching valve spring in the pic that is missing in my valve. Could that be my headache? The tractor has a full factory set up that only works when the valve closest to the tower is engauged.

Sorry, after taking a second look I see them both now.

GSS-1069 shows a flow control valve integral with the regulator-safety valve that contains a metering orifice that supplies constant oil pressure to the steering by remaining open at all times. I would say this is either stuck closed, (pushed against the spring) or the metering orifice is plugged.

No's 18,19,20,21,&22, are the flow control part of the valve.
make sure 17 is present.
Remove & clean # 10
Replace all orings.
