686 with a 2 point???

I have a few questions. Was a 2 point hitch an option on a 686? There is one on an auction that is comming up and it has a 2 point hitch that looks factory. Also has anyone seen any 686's sell latley on auction? curious as to what they bring. This one has a hiniker cab, rubber 50% all the way around, diesel, narrow front (also very few of them made i'm sure never seen one before with a nf) good paint and clean cab, around 7,000 hours (not sure if tractor has had any recent engine or any work done) Also are these good tractors for bailing hay and doing some plowing and discing of hay ground? Will it pull a 3-16 plow and 13 ft. disk? Thanks!

I have an operators manual for a 1979 686 and there is no fast hitch in there. It could have been changed because the fast hitch was avialible on the 656 which is the same tractor only older. I seen 2 686s sell at an auction this spring they went for between 8500 and 9200. The 686 will easily pull a 3-16s plow and a 12 ft disc. They are a great tractor if you buy it you will like it. Just make sure its a good one. Engine and TA jobs are not cheap.

I think I have seen the tractor you are talking about because you do not see to many 686's with a NF, FH, and cab. If it is that one it was ordered from the dealer with the NF and FH. He pulled a 540 4-14 plow and mounted a 461 FM cultivator on it. I wish I had the money to buy it!
