1466 3pt /hyd problems

All of a sudden the 3pt hitch armes on my 1466 will not come up. You can pull the 3pt lever up and the arms won't do anything. Now pull the aux hyd lever back with the 3pt lever in up position and the arms come up. The arms will drop back down with the 3pt lever but to get them to come back up you have to use the aux hyd lever. Any ideals????

this is from the service manual for the 06 series but i think it should be the same. 3 possible causes:
1.unloading valve orifice plugged
2.unloading valve piston sticking
3.unloading valve ball not seating or seat loose.
