What is this thing? Hydraulic Proportion Valve

I saw this on an eBay auction and I don't know what it is. My tractor has one on the back right after the 2 way spool as well. When I was looking I thought it was a priority flow, but that doesn't seem right.

Looks an equal flow splitter with relief provisions. BWDIK. Your guess is pretty much the same thing. It is aftermarket.

looks like a flow divider to me.

Pilot operated check valve.
Hydraulic cylinder will be locked in place until
pressure from tractor activates the spool inside
the control valve. cylinder will not drop with
engine off.

need to add looks just like a Metro Hydraulics, probably same company. Should be able to google metro, 401, etc. and come up with more info.
