McCormick Orchard Tractor on eBay

I decided to sell my 1948 McCormick OS-4 Orchard tractor, so I put it on eBay last Sunday

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140595615295&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:US:1123

so far, there's really not much interest in it, I'm wondering if I remove the loader & take new pictures if it would get more interest?

I've not looked at the ad but the only person who'd pay any more for an OS-4 than a W-4 would be a collector and having the loader on would make it worth less to them. Sam

if it were an O-4, it would probably sell like hotcakes. never seems to be much demand for the standard 4 or 6's

It ain't that hard to make a clickable link.

If I was selling, I would do everything to facilitate the sale. In this case that means a one-click access to the item ad.

the only thing the o-4 has over the os-4 is the full flaring. the orchard model is narrower than the standard w-4, has a hand clutch, has a lower seat, exhaust is under the vented hood, has heavy cast front rims, and the lights were mounted low.this is some of the differences from the w-series.

my point was for collectablity is people want the full fendered version. to most people an OS is pretty much like owning a W series

I also find people are turned off by reserves. When I sell something, I start the bid at my lowest price. For your listing, you could add your reserve price in the description to let people know you don't have a ridiculous price in mind.
