Someone installed battey neg. ground.Switch to pos. gr. Not charging
Do not know if wireing is right.
Did the batt to post A still no charging.
With unit running will i have a output voltage on the post on gen?

Original it was POS gnd but just are all the original componets still there.

Gen looks good also the reg looks good dont know if wired proper.

Just looking good isnt the answer what # is on the Delco Remy tag Then how many terminals on the reg.Where is it mounted if its on the gen its probably a cut-out.

delco #1100501 1e14 the reg is mounted on rear gas tank support front of steertig column.

Batt goes to the Bat post on the reg. Field goes to field and A on the gen goes to gen on the reg. Reg should be for pos gnd.

wireing is correct. on this reg. righ side gen on left bottom field middle bat top L what is the L terminal for?

The L goes from the Regulator to the Light switch input terminal. If that is already connected to the amp gauge, it can be disconnected from there so the lights and ignition are supplied by this L wire (10 gage) From there a lead also goes to the ignition (if it is a Coil ignition)
The bat wire goes to the Amp gauge load side. Jim
