I'm wondering when IH switched over to Red paint. I know it was 1936, but is there a month or a date? The serial number is 52755 if that help. Thanks

I think it was November, which was the beginning of the 1937 model year.

All 1936s were gray,1937s were red

not all were grey in 36, the offical switch over took place on nov.1st to red .before that date there was both colors, then after nov. 1st they all had to be red.

And therefore all 36's were grey because IH's fiscal year and model years changed November 1, Kinda like right now you can buy 2012 truck in 2011
