Can u put an engine out of a farmall 400 in a farmall H . Also how can yuo tell thr differace between an H engine and a 400 engine. THANKS

No. The 400 engine is much larger. Same size as a Farmall M. Other than the physical size, the best way to tell the difference is to look for the numbers cast into the block in the area behind the oil filter. An H and an M will have a part number, and the Super H, Super M, 300, 400, etc. will have the actual cubic inch size of the engine in that area.

A 400 is WAY bigger-about 140+/- cubic inch.They will not fit.But,if you have enough money,time,and desire-anything's possible....
