986 key help!

My father passed away a few years ago and amongst his possessions was an IH 986 tractor with an Allied front end loader on it. One problem I have though is my father saved every key he every had throughout his life, thus I now have 1/2 grocery bag full of keys.

In going thru this mass of keys I have found nothing that says IH or anything related to the tractor. I've been made an offer for the tractor from my father's best friend but the problem is the tractor is 1,100 miles from where I now live so I can't just sit there and try each key until I find the right one.

So what I need is for other 986 series or 86 series tractor owners to post a picture of the keys for their tractors, so I can try to find the right one.

Below is a link to an image at the Messick's IH parts site. NOT sure if that's and actual image for that part number, and furthermore, the number has changed 4 or times and the shape MAY have changed, as well.

If you can't figure it out, go to your nearest CIH dealer and ask for part # 131313C1, some $5.00.

(They are all keyed the same.)
Key
 
The same key fit all the combines 101-1680, Cub Cadets (IH), tractors 240/460/up thru 1586, Skid loaders, older keys were marked IH, later were plain. If you ave any older IH they are all the same.
 
If it has a cab there are a small hand full of different keys to fit the door locks, ignitions key same on all.
 
Thank you for the information, this gives me some more direction in sifting through this mass of keys. Of note I did find a John Deere key, but he used to have a very old 2 cylinder John Deere tractor that my brother and I laughed at when we saw it. That laughter quickly changed to respect when my brother's Suzuki Samarai got stuck in the creek with the front end 4 feet under water. That John Deere didn't even grunt or moan, it just pulled it out like it was weightless, after that I realized that the horsepower ratings of tractors were not on the same scale as hot rod cars.

The 400 had a different type key. At least ours did and it came from factory that way. I don't know what the 300 had. The rest of our IH's used the same key.
