706 Manifold pipe

My exhaust pipe (from the manifold to the muffler) has finally worn out on my 706d. Where can you find a replacement pipe? It's the pipe that has threads on the end. Would a regular water pipe thread work?

It is just standard pipe thread. Case-IH should have it or pay a visit to your local plumbing, heating, and cooling contractor and have them make it for you from black iron pipe. (gas pipe)

Yes, it's standard black iron (water) pipe. Can't tell you the size, offhand, but that shouldn't be too tough to figure out. Measure the OD, then go to the site linked below to look up the "trade size" for pipe with that OD.

2 1/2 inch black pipe .

You will need to get a pipe tap to clesn the threads so the new pipe can have good threads to fit good.
