I9 serial numbers

I have found and am looking at another I9 and was wondering what year it might be model#IC9 seriel#3790y14 it has hyd brakes on it and a different front axle than the 1945 we have has old military looking tires on the back I when I go on this site and look it up it looks like maybe a 43 if I take the y14 off the end but not sure out the IC9 model #

1943 from what i can tell.

ICB should be the prefix, Y14 is electric srating and/or lighting. The year is 1943. Hyd. Brakes were optional, and an industrial heavier front axle was also avaibale.

I don't think there is an y14, X14 is starting and lighting, BUT Y15 in military, which is apparantly what you have.

W is used on standards, X on row crops, Y on industrials. Some dont apply to the others, simply from that option not being offered on a certain model like standard vs row crop. Guys book doesnt show a "Y" code for an Industrail kerosene model, but my I-4 has Y17 on the tag and engine. I asked him about it, said something to the effect of the list wasnt complete.
