Gonna need some SHOES, though!

Those are worn so thin you can see the air in 'em!

Man, when this tractor came out, it was really something. I had to be content with a John Deere B as my Dad felt nobody needed as big a tractor as the Farmall MTA.

Congrats!

I'm a new owner of two SMTA LP's. They're in about the same overall shape.

One has the same brand of tires as this one.

You know,
When I was about 15 or so, I bought 2 SMDTAs. Paid $700 for one and $1000 for the other. The one looked like it was brand new. Paint was perfect and all. The other one was in about the shape, tin wise, as yours, but ran good. I never had a book on them, and never figured out how to start them, always pull started them.
Ended up selling both for I think $400, 30 years ago.

Years ago I picked up a SMTAD in a salvage yard in Nebraska. Serial # just a little under 80000.
Just curious if that one is close to that serial # range?
