1566 T.A.repair cost

What does it cost to repair or replace a T.A. in a
1566 Thanks!

Ta's are in the 1000. range.The rest deoends if your going to do the work yourself or have someone do the work. I would thinnk somewhere from 12 to 16 hours to split a 1566 and put in a new TA. Its also a good time to check your clutch and pressure plate, your flywheel ring gear, etc when the tractors split. Hope this helps Kent

The PTO input gear, which is gonna be half eaten thru anyway. Easy fix while yer in there.

I can get a t/a for around $800 including the gasket kit.
