Farmall H with hand clutch

My Grandfather's H had a hand clutch that we used when we were square baling hay. One, did that come from the factory this way or was that added on later? And two, does anyone know where I can by a H with a hand clutch or where I could purchase the hand clutch to add to a H?

Commonly refered to as an M&W clutch. It was an add on made by the M&W gear company. You will have to buy an H with one installed and then go looking for clutches and other parts. There may be someone here that knows of a parts source. I have two on my M's. I have a parts list and an exploded drawing if you ever need it. Ellis Kinney

I have a parts Farmall H rear end with a Heisler hand clutch in it if anybody is interested in it for parts. I bought it to use, but never did.

(quoted from post at 10:15:01 08/22/11) Will a hand clutch from a M work on a H? Seen one off a M for sale in local classifieds.

Not a chance. A few of the parts are the same, but overall the M clutch is bigger than the H clutch.
