Super M hydraulics question

I've got a super M with live hydraulics with the pump behind the distributor. My pull/push rod for one way hydraulics is attached to a lever arm on the reservoir tank under the gas tank. I have a sickle mower hooked up to the hydraulic line. I went to lower the sickle mower yesterday and nothing happened. I don't seem to have any lift either, no lugging of motor or pump noise when I go to raise it. I have a behlen power steering unit hooked up with a flow control valve. Power steering works fine. Any suggestions on what to look for? Any ideas are appreciated.

Hoses can split internally and a flap of rubber block flow into or out of a cylinder or load.
A lever link pushing or pulling on the spool valve in a control can disconnect,
A check valve can fail or jamb, or a hose or steel line can kink and block flow. Jim

Thanks Jim,

Looks like I have my work cut out for me checking things over. I'm learning as I go along about tractors and things that need fixing on them.
