Mounting Shaver HD-10 on 656, Part 2: Hydraulic lines help

Ok, I got the Shaver post driver on the 656. All connects up mechanically. Now for the interesting part. The HD-10 I have has what looks to be a 1/2" pressure line (and fitting) with a 1" return line (to be put directly into the hydraulic tank). Problem is the pressure line (make end) doesn't fit into the make end on the tractor's remote.

Question is do they make an adaptor for between the two or do I need to replace the entire male hose end?

Where's the best place to get hose parts or have them made?

As always, thanks for your help and sharing your experience!

Tractor is a 656D Utility w/ Shaver HD-10 post driver.

If you are talking about quick connect fittings, then yes there are adapters available. I've gotten them at TSC. Or else you can remove the coupler from the hose and put on the one that fits your tractor hydraulics, also available, probably from a farm store also. You have to know what type of coupler you have ie IH, Pioneer, JD etc. Tractor would have IH couplings if original.

i presume the female ends on the 656 are original. either the older ih ends or pioneer ends will work with the 656. the ends used on the 66 and 86 ih series will not match up, nor will the older jd tapered ends. you should be able to buy a male pioneer end for no more than $15 for your hose.
