Finally getting real close to ready for paint.

Lots more work done... today: new gasket on push rod cover, oil change, adjust clutch, touque, valves, front wheel bearing adj, etc.

Things going well, no other issues found :) Removed the rear seat platformed cleaned and re-installed.

Next will be to removed all the gauges, wiring, water temp sensor, and coolant hoses. Then remove rear wheels, as they are getting the tires removed and wheels sandblasted & powder coated

that will be IT... off to paint. THEN we'll finish it up... I have new wiring harness, plugs & plug wires, coil, battery, coolant hoses, hyd hoses, seat, emblems, steering wheel, etc. etc

Yes little crazy but we have come this far.

What do you thing??? anything else.

hood work & fenders are at the shop already...

I did a 460 HI Utility about 4-5 years ago, not that much difference from your 560. I painted everything separately. All sheet metal, gas tank, carb, distributer, manifold, hydraulics, steering parts were removed, cleaned, sanded, and painted separately. Engine was removed and overhauled, also. In other words all that was left was from the engine back, and it was stripped of all parts. Rims were removed and wheels were sandblasted when off, reinstalled and painted with the rest of the chassis. The tractor was not a job, but a journey, it took a long time. Probably does not matter as most of it won't be noticeable, but if you don't do that there will be a lot of places that either get too much paint or too little.

Lights are a good story....So when I was in Jr high school, in like 1985 our neighbor had a 460 with rear light that did not work. So I asked him if I could have the mount & lens. Rest is history, since then we have had TWO lights on our 560 ever since.

we re-did this tractor around 1985-86 and have kept it in great shape ever since.

tell me more.... beginning to that might not be the best options here.

worried about damage putting it on the tractor.
