Almost liqudated

Started in mid May with fourteen tractors to liqudate and of this day there are only three to go. An H and a 1940 M that need fuel work, and a C which seized on me while sitting at local ag museum. Also, have a 1945 KB5 needing to move along.
I am so appreciative of this site for two things: It's tremendous readership who have helped so graciously in answering questions and giving direction, and the exposure to those who are seeking Farmall tractors and want to buy! Even though I am wrapping up with a trailer load of parts, grills, hoods (H and M) at an auction in Lindsborg, KS on the 27th, I intend to stay tuned to this discussion section and photos for sale, for certain.
Thanks, once again. Wayne, Salina, KS

Is the auction on the web? I may be interested in both an M hood and grill provided they are "repairable".

TOM Fleming: go to craigslist 2545546490 to take a look. Note I have a sheet explaining fully the condition of the unit. If interested send me your email address, please.

CNKS: The auction is provided by a neighbor in the small community of Lindsborg, Ks right on the highway. I doubt a widespread notice of it, but the estate is of Ewald Lafdahl, an old time Farmall/IH mechanic who took years of knowledge and experience with him.
http://www.ksallink.com/pages/?page=auctions (or simply KSAL, and click on auctions) and it will be under: August 27th, Richard Patrick Auctioneer. You will see manuals, books, etc. in good numbers.
I have several H and M grills and hoods and started to sell them on eBay, but the shipping was such a hassle I thought "forget it". Thanks.

Wayta -- Apparantly the hoods and grills are on a trailer. Any idea what time of day they will get to that? I see there may be two rings. A guy in WI had a nice hood on Ebay, he stopped communicating with me because he couldn't figure out how to ship it. You are maybe 220 miles or so from me in Garden City.

I have five M hoods and five grills. Will go through them this week and get back with you. I think you might be pleased. I do not ship as I have to cut two boxes, fit together, etc. Besides, I do not believe the M hood would fit within the inch limit without severe penalty for shipping. Yes, my stuff will be on a road trailer, not a farm trailer, and there may be two rings.

Sorry to be late in responding in the manner promised. Went on a quick start vacation, returned, loaded stuff out of the storage barn yesterday. There are several H and M hoods and grills. My man had loaded the grills so did not get them checked out. Looked at one M hood, it was complete, with all four J hooks. I have a trailer full of new and used stuff.
The auctioneer called this morning and said there are loads and loads of stuff from the estate of this old time Farmall mechanic at a dealership. Hope you can come1
