Super W6 - value

I am looking at a Super W6 that has been sitting in the weeds for a couple of years. The tractor is complete, tin in good shape, engine is loose, but needs tires all the way around. Owner is asking 2000, which seems high. What is it worth as it sits and restored?[/i]

I would say it is worth around $400-600 as it sets, if it was completely restored and painted it would probably be worth $2000-$3000. But, you will spend more than $3000 restoring one.

If the tires hold air enough to load the tractor, it is worth 650. If they do not it is worth 450.
The reality of loading a tractor with flats is worth 200. The owner is not aware of the price points on this tractor, or is emotionally attched to it or both. Jim

I second, he is NUTS!!! I wouldn't even deal with him if that's his starting point. Half price would still be too much.
