IH McCormick Deering Decals for '48 C

I have a 1948 Farmall C, I was wondering if the correct decals are available, that have the IH Logo along with McCormick Deering above Farmall? Seems like everywhere I look has either ones that have the IH logo with just McCormick above Farmall or have no IH logo and have McCormick Deering above Farmall.

TMatt - if you do find them, please post the source.

I have a 48 super a that I'm redoing. Not at the sticker stage yet, but I will be looking sometime soon.

I haven't done an exhaustive search yet, but as I casually look around, I haven't seen any with the deering yet.

TMatt: I should have said that you will find many that say yes to Deering in '48 and many that say no to Deering on decal in'48. Gotta look for the posts that refer to what is in the IHC Archives in Wisconsin.

McCormick-Deering for a 48. However, I don't like the looks of that decal. I redid my grandpas 48 C, and put the McCormick-IH decal on it. Looks better to me, and that is what was on it before I repainted it. I think Grandpa must have had it repainted at the dealer, and they switched to McCormick-IH. That's one dealer repainting "upgrade" I approve of. Now, painting 400's to look like 450's...thats another story.

Check out Maple-Hunter decals in Indiana. I think they have the McCormick-Deering decal you are looking for.

I just got off the phone with Maple-Hunter decals and they have the correct IH McCormick-Deering decals I was needing. I found that Bates Corp also has these decals, but Maple-Hunter is about half the price of Bates.

You got me wondering, so I started searching.

Check out this place. They have the mccormick deering hood decals for a's b's and h's - but I don't specifically see C's ... I assume they're the same - but not sure. Or maybe they're listed in there somewhere and I'm just missing it.

The thing that worries me is that those would just have the McCormick Deering and no IH logo like was used up to 47? I think. I've seen quite a few places that sell C decals that are just the McCormick Deering Farmall with no IH logo, which to my knowledge never was used, those decals were from before the C was even built.

I don't know why there are so many different answers. This refers to ALL letter series: From 1939 to 1945, the decal said McCormick Deering Farmall. The IH was put in front of the McCormick Deering Farmall in 1945, the Deering disappeared in mid 1949. To be correct, that is ALL anyone needs to know. BUT, in addition ANY letter series tractor painted after mid-1949 BY THE DEALER got the IH McCormick Farmall without the Deering, unless the dealer had some older decals left over. Until Maple Hunter Decals came along, virtually all decal sets did not use Deering after 1949, regardless of when the tractor was built, including my dad's 1947 H.
