Trying to adjust the valves on my Demonstrator C.
I found TDC and the distributor rotor points towards #1. The owners manual then calls for rotating the flywheel until two marks line up. If I do this, then I will no longer be at TDC on #1.
Kinda confusing here....any help would be appreciated at this point as I have a parade in two days.

Gary, there is a 2 step process of adjusting valves,Its starts at TDC,you adjust certin valves then you rotate 180 degrees than adjust the others.I cant remember what the pattern is,its been several years but someone might add to this.It probally can be found in the aecives

f you are rotating the crankshaft, you better go 360 degrees so the marks are in line again.

By the way, the timing marks are in line at TDC. Most other methods only approximate it.
