What IH Tractor do you like best for Bushhoging and Why?

656D IH or a Farmall would be my choice of the 3 you have, 706/756 to large to get into some areas for me at least. Honestly the best hogging tractor iv used was a 544D farmall hydro, good on fuel and good combo with a 6 foot hog.

The International 464 Diesel is very good on fuel, and, since it is low profile, you don't have to worry about low-hanging limbs much. That tractor will handle a 5 foot bushhog through small trees and underbrush with ease. I imagine you could use a 6-7 footer if you were just doing pastures.

Hard to beat an 806 with a 10 ft Bushhog. Will handle 24 inch weeds in low 4th when ground is smooth enough to stay on the tractor and burn about 2.5 gal or less per hour. Will cut 35 to 40 acres per day.
