Does anyone have any pictures handy of how the power steering hooks up on a 450 diesel? Im looking for the hydraulics hook-up mainly.

Thanks!

Nobody wants to take the hood off. Do you have an owners manual? Without looking, I believe there is a picture in there which shows the left side with the hood off.
Pretty sure that the I&T book shows a view also of the left side.
If I remember---the pressure line comes off the hydraulic block with a right angle pipe that has a flare fitting-- goes to rubber line to the power steering unit. The return hose goes to the lower drain plug/ tee on the hydraulic box.
Someone else probably has a better memory of this than I or has the side off.

The pressure comes out of the first block on the hydraulics under behind the steering wheel. I believe that you will find that a different block is needed for the power steering (priority valve). I do not think that all of them left the factory with a priority valve, but that may have only been on the 400's.
