w4 carburetor interchange

Will an IH 362173R92 carburetor bolt right up to a W4 and deliver the right amount of fuel or is this carb too big? Thanks

So that we don't have to look up a number, what carb is that? If it is for a SW4, it will probably work, with little advantage over the original carb. However, it won't fit the manifold.

This carb is for an M or a 400.

That number is for a 400 or 450, as CNKS posted it won't bolt up to a W4 manifold. Unless its a aftermarket manifold or from a SH, SW4, 300 or 350, and then a throttle tube from one of those tractors should be used with it to line up everything the best.
