Hi. I've got a farmall M with a wide front and would like to change to a narrow. I'm looking for a lower bolster complete with bearings and hubs. From what I've learned, the hubs off my wide will not likely fit the narrow's spindles. I'm from Nova Scotia and I can't find anything here so I thought I would try farther from home. If anyone has any info for me, I sure would appericate it. Thanks for now.

If you place an ad, you will be able to trade the wide for a narrow even. The wide front (if not welded up, and OEM or a known brand) will be desired. Almost all salvage yards will have them. From M to 450 to 560, I believe they are the same, or at least fit exactly. Jim

If your wide front end is in good shape, i'd trade my narrow front with you. I live in PEI. Here's a pic of my M. Kent

Hi there. Thanks for the replies. To Kent on the island, I would trade but the front is a little rough. It does work fine but the linkages have been redone and patched up, so its not all orignal. The king pins and hubs and bearings are good. I want to change it mainly to steer easier for my father ( he's 75 ) to drive. If your still interested or if you would sell your narrow, let me know. Thanks.

Hello Kent from P E I. Here's pictures of my M wide front. It was like this when I got it. It does work okay but it could be a little prettier. Let me know if you get them. Bye for now.
