966 Power Steering Mounting Pin Taper Reamer

I am wanting to replace the straight pin that mounts the power steering cylinder rod end to the front axle on my 966 International. I want to replace it with the later model taper type pin. This requires the hole in the axle where the power steering end mounts to be reamed or drilled with the proper taper to accept the taper pin. Does anyone have one of these taper drills that I could buy or rent or know where I might find one. I understand International dealers used them quite a bit when these tractors were newer, but I can't seem to find one now. It appears to be about a 3 1/2 degree taper. Thanks for your help.

I just modified my 1066 to accept the tapered pin with my die grinder. A little time and some eyeballing and I got a perfect fit.

any hy-capacity or ag parts dealer can rent them from the above mentioned companys. they do have a fee to the dealer and also the dealer is charged a core fee untill the tool is returned.
