I have a 130 and the clutch is suddenly not working correctly. It seems that I need to depress the clutch a little more than the space allows me. I cannot use the clutch while the engine is running to change gears. If I start it in gear, the tractor moves even with the clutch depressed. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

Rusty.
I've never seen a sudden clutch failure, which was attributable to not being properly adjusted. So I'm surprised by your answer. Not saying it cannot be true. Oh no, I'm always learning and appreciate all knowledge and experience on this forum.
Thanks, Hendrik

Youve got 3 "fingers" on the pressure plate that swivel on pins, which are held in with carter pins. Id be willing to bet one of those pins has come out, if its a sudden thing.

Remove the plate (if it is still there) on the bottom of the clutch housing and look inside. If you lost a pin it will be obvious. You may need to turn the clutch in order to see all 3 fingers.

I guess I missed the part about "suddenly". I apoligize for that.

You are correct to believe that a clutch will not "suddenly" need adjusting. More likely that one of the fingers on the pressure plate has failed in some manner.

No need to apologize. We're learning all the time.
I appreciate your posts and replies.
I agree that very likely something has broken or come apart.
